Uwharrie Charter Academy will admit any eligible student under North Carolina law who submits a completed application during the admissions period, unless the number of applicants exceeds the number of open spaces in each grade level. Students are admitted without regard to race, sex, disability, color, religion, or national or ethnic origin. There are no restrictions about county of residence as long as the applicant is a resident of North Carolina
